The Planner offers a faster, optimized experience managing your Tasks. You can view your Task list in the Side Panel and filter your Tasks. Quick actions allow you to manage your Tasks in Planner view.

View your Task Policy

Viewing a Tasking Policy will open up the Task Policy details in the Planner side-panel.

From the Planner Side Panel

  • Click on the Task

From the Planner Calendar

  • Click on a Task Event in the Planner Calendar

  • Right-click on a Task Event from the Planner Calendar and select View details.

Filter your Tasks

Filter the tasks you want to see by clicking the downward arrow next to Open tasks.

Prioritize scheduling of your Tasks

Stack-rank your Tasks

  1. Hover over the left-side of the Task until you see the six dots

  2. Drag the Task above or below other Tasks to identify how you want them prioritized

Note: Stack-ranking is not the same as task dependency, where Task B relies on Task A before being scheduled.

Prioritize your Tasks by due date

Click on the filter icon next to the Task filter labeled Prioritize by due date.

Start, Restart, and Stop a Task

From the Planner Side Panel, basic Task and Task Event actions are located on the right-side of each Task that allows you to Start, Restart, and Stop a Task.

More options

From the Planner side-panel, click on the three icon labeled More options to the right of a Task to access additional Task and Task Event actions.
