Reclaim schedules your calendar in using a sequence of the event type and how they are prioritized within that type of event. Read How Reclaim schedules your calendar for an understanding of this process.

Scheduling your Tasks

If you do nothing, Reclaim will schedule ˆbased on the due date of each Task.

If you change the stack ranking of your Tasks, Reclaim will schedule in the order your Tasks are stack ranked.

Scheduling your Tasks using stack ranking

In the scenario below, all Tasks were created at the same with and have the same parameters (duration, due date, time blocks, etc.). Notice that:

  • Task #1 was scheduled first for Monday at 8:00 AM

  • Task #3 was scheduled first for Monday at 3:30 PM

  • Task #2 was scheduled for Wednesday at 3:30 PM

Each Task Event was scheduled after each other.

As items start shifting on your calendar, this sequence will not remain constant, but it gives you an idea of how it's working.

  • Task due dates helps to determine when the Task is flipped from Free to Busy.

  • It's possible that a Task is scheduled passed your due date if there isn't enough time available to schedule your Tasks.
