Reclaim 2.0 + Asana integration

Learn how to connect Asana to Reclaim 2.0 to sync project tasks, scheduling, and workload planning workflows across your calendar and project management systems.

With Asana connected, Reclaim can sync tasks from Asana, block time for them on Google Calendar, and help teams get important work done before deadlines. Reclaim schedules tasks by priority so users can focus on their most important work first.


How to set up the Reclaim Asana integration

To connect Reclaim to Asana:

  1. In the Reclaim app, navigate to Settings > Integrations

  2. Select Asana

  3. Click Connect Asana or Add Asana

  4. Sign in to your Asana account

  5. Choose the Asana workspace or organization you want to connect

  6. Review and approve the requested permissions

  7. Configure which Asana tasks should sync into Reclaim

Once connected, Reclaim can automatically schedule time for Asana tasks on your calendar.

Note: Depending on your Asana workspace settings, an Asana admin may need to approve the Reclaim app before users can connect it.

Requirements

To connect Asana to Reclaim 2.0, you’ll need:

  • A Reclaim account on a plan that supports task integrations

  • An Asana account in the workspace or organization you want to connect

  • Access to the Asana tasks or projects you want Reclaim to sync

  • Permission to authorize third-party apps for your Asana account

  • An Asana workspace admin who can approve the Reclaim app, if app approvals are required

Disconnecting the integration

You can disconnect Reclaim from Asana at any time through Reclaim settings.

To disconnect Asana from Reclaim:

  1. Sign in to Reclaim

  2. Open Settings

  3. Go to Integrations

  4. Select Asana

  5. Click Disconnect, Remove, or Manage connection

  6. Confirm the disconnection

Once disconnected, Reclaim will no longer sync Asana tasks or use Asana data for task scheduling.

Revoking Asana permissions

To remove Reclaim’s access from Asana:

  1. Open Asana

  2. Go to your account, workspace, or admin settings

  3. Open app, developer, or connected-app settings

  4. Locate Reclaim

  5. Select Remove, Disconnect, or Revoke access

  6. Confirm removal

Depending on your Asana workspace settings, only an admin may be able to remove app access.

Note: Disconnecting Asana from Reclaim stops future syncing. Existing calendar blocks or tasks created from Asana tasks may remain in Reclaim or on your calendar unless manually removed.

Existing calendar events created by Reclaim may remain on your calendar unless manually removed.
