Connect Reclaim to Slack to bring calendar status, availability, and scheduling updates into the place where your team already communicates.
With Slack connected, Reclaim can help teammates understand when you are in meetings, focused, or unavailable — reducing interruptions and cutting down on scheduling back-and-forth
Requirements
To connect Slack to Reclaim 2.0, you’ll need:
A Reclaim account on a plan that supports the Slack integration
A Slack account in the workspace you want to connect
Permission to install apps in that Slack workspace
A Slack workspace admin who can approve the Reclaim app, if app approvals are required
Slack connected to the same work environment where you want Reclaim to sync calendar status, availability, and notifications
How to set up the Reclaim Slack integration
To connect Reclaim to Slack:
In the Reclaim app, navigate to Settings > Integrations
Select Slack
Click Connect Slack or Add to Slack
Choose the Slack workspace you want to connect
Review and approve the requested permissions
Configure any Slack notification or status preferences
Once connected, Reclaim can use Slack to share scheduling context, availability updates, and calendar-related notifications.
Note: Depending on your workspace settings, a Slack admin may need to approve the Reclaim app before you can connect it.

Disconnecting the integration
You can disconnect Reclaim from Slack at any time through Reclaim settings.
To disconnect Slack from Reclaim:
Sign in to Reclaim
Open Settings
Go to Integrations
Select Slack
Click Disconnect, Remove, or Manage connection
Confirm the disconnection
Once disconnected, Reclaim will no longer use Slack for workspace notifications, status syncing, or Slack-based scheduling workflows.
Revoking Slack workspace permissions
To remove Reclaim’s access from Slack:
Open Slack
Go to your workspace app settings or app directory
Locate Reclaim
Open the Reclaim app settings
Select Remove App or revoke access
Confirm removal
Depending on your Slack workspace permissions, only a workspace owner or admin may be able to remove the app.
Note: Disconnecting Slack from Reclaim stops the integration going forward. Existing Slack messages or notifications may remain in Slack according to your workspace retention settings.
Existing calendar events created by Reclaim may remain on your calendar unless manually removed.
