Reclaim leverages smart AI scheduling to build out a productive weekly plan around your priorities, deadlines, and availability. You can always fine-tune how Reclaim schedules with your smart events to better suit your preferences under Settings > Scheduling.
Adjust your scheduling settings in Reclaim
Let's walk through how all these settings work:
Auto-lock
You can tell Reclaim to automatically lock your Smart Meetings, and your Habits and Tasks, at the beginning of each day or week. This can offer more predictability by reducing reschedules on your calendar, closer to the start of an event.
Learn more about auto-lock in this doc.
Start time intervals
Reclaim allows you to set start time intervals for when Scheduling Links and Smart Meetings are booked in your calendar. You can select your preferred time intervals for meetings (:00, :15, :30, :45) to better manage your availability for collaboration every week.
Learn more about start time intervals in this doc.
RSVP settings for Calendar Sync
You can adjust your setting for how events are synced via Calendar Sync when the event has no RSVP โย either as 'Free' or 'Busy', be default.

Starting & managing done scheduling
You can opt to decide whether you want Tasks and Habits to automatically start at the time they're scheduled (default) or whether you want to only start them manually by using the Start action.
Tasks that are done scheduling
You can let Reclaim automatically reopen or close your Tasks that are done scheduling after a cooldown period by selecting one of three options.

Event scheduling
With the event scheduling settings, you can fine-tune how Reclaim's AI finds time for Tasks, Habits, & meetings โ taking into consideration additional Task details, like due date and the work remaining to be scheduled for the Task.
There are a few options:
Due date & work remaining have little effect: Due dates and work remaining on Tasks will have little effect on how Tasks schedule relative to meetings, Habits, and other Tasks beyond your priority settings. That means that even if a lower-priority Task is due sooner and/or has more work remaining than a higher-priority Task, Reclaim may try to schedule the higher-priority one sooner.
Strongly influenced by due date only: Due dates will strongly influence how Tasks schedule relative to meetings, Habits, and other Tasks. Work remaining will have little effect. That means that lower-priority Tasks that are due sooner may be scheduled ahead of higher-priority Tasks that are due later.
Strongly influenced by due date & work remaining (default): Due dates and work remaining on Tasks will strongly influence how Tasks schedule relative to meetings, Habits, and other Tasks. That means that Tasks that are due sooner with more work remaining may be scheduled ahead of higher-priority Tasks that are due later and have less work remaining.
You can experiment with different settings to find which one fits best with your workflow and schedule.
Emoji settings
You can customize your emoji settings for Habits, Tasks, and Smart Meetings to customize which emojis you want to display on your calendar events, and where in the title they appear.
