How to tell Reclaim which calendars to check for your availability when blocking time.

Connected Calendars are used by Reclaim to check your availability for blocking events, and can be used to schedule Habits, Tasks, and meetings to different calendars.

What is a Connected Calendar?

By default, Reclaim will set the primary calendar of your account's main email as a connected calendar. All your events will schedule to this calendar by default.

You can also add other calendars for Reclaim to check availability across and to schedule specific events to.

How to add a Connected Calendar

You can manage your connected calendars from Settings > Calendars.

Here you'll see your primary calendar, and any additional accounts you've added. You can also click these accounts and select 'Connected calendars' to check any sub-calendars you have created under that Google account, for example.

Any new writable calendar can be added by clicking + Add Account.

You cannot currently select group and resource calendars (e.g., holiday and birthday calendars with IDs such as en.usa#[email protected]) and/or calendars that Reclaim doesn't have full read and write access to as connected calendars.

Note: Calendar Sync and Connected Calendars are two different things. Calendar Sync duplicates events across calendars to prevent overbookings within your workspace, whereas Connected Calendars will only tell Reclaim which calendars to check when blocking time off.

How account changes affect your Connected Calendars

Switching your Main Account

When switching your main account, the primary calendar of your old main email will no longer be a Connected Calendar. The primary calendar of your new main email will become a Connected Calendar.

Downgrading

When downgrading to the free Lite plan, the primary calendar of your main email will continue to be the Connected Calendar. All other Connected Calendars will be disabled.
