A big benefit of using Reclaim's Google Tasks integration is that you can easily create Tasks directly from Gmail with a single click or keyboard shortcut.

Once you've set up the integration, go to GMail and find a message you want to create a task from.

At the top of the message, click the "Add to Tasks" button or press "shift-T" if you use Gmail keyboard shortcuts:

The message subject will be instantly added to your Google Tasks as a new task. Make sure it gets added to the 🗓 Reclaim task list, as that is the one that syncs with Reclaim. The task will contain a deep link from the task to the email thread for context:

In just a moment, Reclaim will sync this task to your calendar. By default, it will assign one hour of time to work on it and a due date of three days from now, but you can change this either by editing the Reclaim Task (in the Reclaim UI or via Slack) or by utilizing the natural language syntax.
