Reclaim will automatically consider a Task event complete once the time has passed for it on your calendar.
You have a Task that is broken into two events: one yesterday, from 11am to 12pm, and the other tomorrow, from 3pm to 4pm.
The Task Event yesterday is considered complete ( 👍 ) and indicates to Reclaim that you are halfway through the Task. Keep up the good work!
The Task Event tomorrow is in the future and tentative. The Task will complete and both events will indicate so ( ✅ ) at 4pm tomorrow.
Correcting the record
Sometimes you need to "correct the record" so that Reclaim can keep your schedule up-to-date.
Consider the previous example: suppose you had an emergency just before the second event was set to start and weren't able to do the work. By deleting the second event you are telling Reclaim what happened, resulting in it getting rescheduled sometime in the future, causing the Task to move from done ( ✅ ) to in progress ( 👍 ).
You can also just drag a Task Event from the past to some time in the present, which will simultaneously correct the record and set a new preferred time actually do it.
Manually marking Task as complete
You can also mark a Task as complete if you've finished the work, regardless of where the future events are scheduled on your calendar. When you mark a Task as complete by pressing the Done or Cancel buttons, Reclaim will remove any future events from your calendar.
