You can share Tasks with others in Slack to provide context and show that you've committed to something on your calendar. This action can only be performed when the task is created.

Sharing a task

First, ensure you are in the proper channel where you want your Task to be shared. For example, if you want to share a Task in #general, make sure that you are in the #general channel first.

Now, use a Slack command to create the Task. Here's one to create a task for "Fixing bugs":

/reclaim work task Fixing bugs 1h today

Once you've created the Task, you'll see it appear in the channel visible only to you. Click the Share button to share it with the channel:

You'll see the Task appear in the channel visible to others once you've shared it:
